Our children’s department desires to partner with parents in order to equip all children for a lifelong relationship with Jesus. We want to provide a safe, caring, and fun environment for our children to learn and grow closer to God. We want to teach our children how to love God and others while learning to live out God’s Word. We want to teach our children to be God’s light, and to help them know that Jesus is with them wherever they go (Matt 5:14, 28:20).

WHAT TO EXPECT

At all our events, we check in children 6th grade and under because we value safety and security.  Check in takes place at one of our computer kiosks.  For check in, it is important to know a good contact number for the adult dropping off, and any medical or allergy info.  The child receives a printed name tag, and the adult receives a matching pick up tag.  After service, present the pick up tag to the check out leader and your child will be right out.  Safety of the children in our care is our top priority.  All WVC volunteers complete background checks and safety training.  A security team is also present to keep our children and families safe. Are 3 age group areas are:

  1ST - 6TH GRADERS

  3 YEAR-OLD TO KINDERGARTEN

  NEWBORN TO 2 YEAR-OLD

SUNDAYS

CLASSES at 9AM & KIDS CHURCH at 10AM

Each Sunday we have classes for all ages of kids at 9am. Kid’s Church begins at 10am. Kids will engage in large and small group activities as they learn Bible stories, sing songs, play games, have snacks, and make crafts. 1-6th graders have Kid’s Church together, while the 3yr olds up through Kindergarten have their own worship space.

During the school year, kids are invited to participate in a ministry called “Caravan”. It is a Bible based scouting program for all kids up through 6th grade. Kids complete badges to help them grow in 4 areas: physical, mental, social, and spiritual. Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30.
