West Valley Youth is a ministry of West Valley Church and is for students in 7th grade through 12th grade.  Our purpose is to introduce youth to Jesus Christ, equip them with a faith that works, and to live as people with purpose.  We do this through youth group, our bible study night, Sunday class, and all of our fun events, retreats, mission trips, service projects, and camps.

WEEKLY OPPORTUNITIES

TUESDAY YOUTH GROUP - 6:30PM-8:30PM

Tuesday night is our youth group's main meeting time. We meet from 6:30pm-8pm in the gym. 

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY - 6:30PM-7:30PM

Our Bible study content goes a little deeper than youth group nights. We meet from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in the Youth Center. Students learn different tools that help them read and understand the Bible, and then apply what they have learned to different passages of scripture. 

SUNDAY CLASS - 9AM-9:50AM

This class offers an overview of the Bible. We meet at 9am in the Youth Center. Students participate in topical discussions and larger portions of the Bible compared to youth group and our Bible study. WVC emphasizes maintaining a multi-generational church, so after class, we join the WVC family online for a time of worship, or you can stay and worship through the Live-Stream viewing in the gym.

Meet Pastor Dan

Dan and his wife, April joined WVC in 2017. Youth ministry has been a part of Dan’s life since he was a teen himself. Dan sensed a call to ministry while serving in his own youth group, and has been involved in leading youth groups in various capacities ever since. Dan studied Christian Ministry with an emphasis in Youth Ministry at Point Loma Nazarene University, and went on to earn his Masters of Divinity at Nazarene Theological Seminary. Dan and April love exploring the outdoors of the PNW, playing ultimate frisbee, and playing with their Corgi named Dug. Dan’s office is always open, stop by and say hi!
