Our mission
Our mission is our compelling reason why we do what we do. We think that if you meet Jesus, you will find him to be the God who loves you supremely. We're here to help each other grow into this faith, and to live out our lives on purpose for him and for others.

Our Mission
Introduce people to Jesus
We'd love to introduce you to Jesus. If you meet him, you will find him to be a God who loves you and can transform you into your best person - just like He does with us!
Equip people with a faith that works
This faith in Jesus really works - making a profound difference in our lives. It is also a faith that gets to work, making a difference in the world around us.
Live as people with purpose
Real faith demands real action. We challenge students to live with purpose and integrity.
Come see our values in action

Executive Pastor
Melissa started working for WVC in 2009 as our part-time bookkeeper. However her position quickly grew to become our Business Administrator and after receiving a call into ministry she has transitioned into our Executive Pastor. She was born and raised in Yakima, where she attended Davis until her family moved to the West side of the state at the end of her Junior year. It was then that she met her high school sweetheart and now husband, Bruce. They got married right out of high school and moved back to the Yakima Valley. They have been married about 30 years and have two adult children. Melissa loves camping, reading/audiobooks, traveling and spending time with her family.
