Got questions?

What to expect

We know that visiting a new church can be a little confusing or intimidating, so we've compiled a list of commonly asked questions to help you feel more comfortable.

If you have additional questions, you can visit the Foyer Welcome Center on Sunday, or call the Church Office (509) 966-1550 M-Th 10:00AM - 4:00PM during the week.

When and where are Sunday classes?

Sunday classes start at 9am for Children 1st to 6th grade, Youth 6th to 12th grade, and Adults 18+.

When does the Sunday service begin and end?

Sunday service begins at 10:00 AM and services typically last about an hour and 15 minutes.

Where do I go when I arrive?

You’ll find parking anywhere in our large parking lot. Enter through either of our two main entrances on the west side of the building, where friendly greeters will meet you at the doors. Stop by the Foyer Welcome Center for a quick hello, and help finding your way around. Then grab a coffee at the Chapters cafe, meet some new friends and find your seats for service.

What should I wear?

The people who join us wear anything from jeans to their Sunday Best. The bottom line is, we are thrilled to have you with us, and we want you to come as you are and wear what is comfortable!

Are children welcome to attend?

Yes! We welcome the whole family. Children can attend service with their family or visit our Children's Department. We check in children from newborn to 6th grade because we value safety and security. Check in takes place to the left of the main entrance at one of our computer kiosks. For check in, it is important to know a good contact number for the adult dropping off, and any medical or allergy info. The child receives a printed name tag, and the adult receives a matching pick up tag. After service, scan the pick up tag near the check out leader and your child will be right out.

How are children grouped for Kid's church?

Children are safely checked into our secure kids’ area each Sunday. Newborns through age two are cared for in the nursery, while Kid’s Church is available for ages three through kindergarten and for 1st–6th graders.

What about my teens?

Middle and high school students worship with adults in the Worship Center at 10:00 AM and gather for Youth Group on Wednesday nights.

What safety measures are in place?

We have a safety team in place to help ensure safety for all who attend. Safety of the children in our care is our top priority. All WVC volunteers complete background checks and safety training. A security team is also present to keep our children and families safe. The parking lot and facility is monitored by our volunteer safety team before, during and after services.

Do you offer online services?

Yes, we livestream our Sunday services for those unable to attend in person. YouTube is our online platform that provides full worship experience with real-time connection to our community.

Is your building accessible?

Yes! Our building and restrooms are fully wheelchair accessible. If you or a family member need any assistance, please let a greeter know. We’re happy to help and want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable during their visit.

How can I volunteer?

We have numerous volunteer opportunities across different ministries. Our staff can help match your skills and passions with meaningful service opportunities in our church and local community. Check out Church Center service teams or send an email to office@wvcnaz.com
